I know the wire is 12 ga, so I'm assuming 10+ amps. Id like to use a standard 40 amp cube relay if possible. Jeremy.

if you have the dr44g truck alt you dont need to wire a resister or bulb in..it will default to 13.8 an then just run the cable from the post back to the batt or kill switch like this pic..i like to run the power up to a batt junction box up front..then power for fuse block,switch panel and starter i pull from that..heres a basic pic to give you.

He mentioned you MUST use a relay (Bosch type) when using a "Ford type solenoid" because you can NOT install the purple ignition wire (original purple wire) to the starter "S" terminal and from the "S" terminal back to the "Ford type solenoid" in the trunk. You can't run both solenoids parallel.

It is located above the starter motor towards the rear of the engine block. Gen 3 sensors are black, Gen 4 sensors are grey and cannot be used with a gen 3 crankshaft trigger pattern.. There are 3-wire and 5-wire MAFs available on LS1 engines. The 5-wire type incorporates an Air Temperature Sensor. 3-pin type. MAF Connection: Haltech.

Is my starter wiring right?? I just finished my ls6 swap and got wired everything up. Heres the issue, I was working in the engine bay and bumped the positive batt wire to the terminal (ground was connected already) and the starter turned the motor over without the pcm being connected.
